Test criteria
The reduction of the mite faecal allergen as a result of an allergen binding effect is tested using a specially developed test method with real mite faeces. In addition, the biocompatibility (skin and body compatibility) of the material is tested in two cell culture tests. The water vapour transmission resistance and air permeability can also be determined.
