Certified items are tested for GMOs, pesticides and other harmful substances. The label is awarded for raw cotton, textile materials and accessories as well as finished goods that consist of at least 70% organic cotton.
Certification is available for producers of raw cotton and any other manufacturers or resellers of textiles from all stages of processing.
